St Mary’s Parish Foxton and St Joseph’s Shannon
 
The Pastoral Coordinator is the leader of the pastoral team and works in collaboration with the Priest Moderator, the Parish Council, the Finance and Liturgy Committees and the School Principal to identify and deliver key pastoral outcomes and manages the day to day running of the parish office.

​This a leadership role, designed to grow our faith communities and bring focus to our pastoral outreach, through organising and enthusing parishioners and school families to become involved in the life of the parish.
The Parish Coordinator will be expected to:

Identify the gifts of parishioners and support them in their ministry

Work collaboratively with the school staff and families in the delivery of sacramental processes and catechetical initiatives across the parish and school.

Give leadership in worship and the coordination of liturgical ministries

Be an innovative evangeliser and catechist

Be a community builder with strong interpersonal skills

Manage the parish affairs in collaboration with parish leadership committees

Be a Sunday presence in Shannon and Foxton when possible.

Have theological training or be prepared to complete modules through TCI
